Billing Policy for Veranet and VeraChat

At Veranet, we aim to ensure clarity and fairness in our billing practices. This Billing Policy outlines how payments, refunds, taxes, and other billing-related matters are handled for our product, VeraChat.

Payment Methods

We support the following payment options:

  • Stripe Payments: Secure online payments through Stripe.
  • Direct Bank Transfer: Payments can be made directly to our bank account. Banking details will be provided upon request.

All payments must be made in the currency specified at the time of purchase or invoicing.

Billing Frequency

Currently, we only offer monthly billing for our subscriptions. Annual billing options are not supported at this time.

Invoices

Invoices are sent to the email address associated with your account. For direct bank transfers:

  1. Payment confirmation must be sent to billing@veranet.io to ensure proper processing.
  2. Once the payment is verified, the invoice will be updated in your dashboard for your records.

Refund Policy

Refunds are available under the following conditions:

  • Error or Duplicate Payments: Refunds will be issued for payments made in error or for duplicate transactions.
  • Refund Requests: If you believe you are eligible for a refund, you must submit a request to billing@veranet.io. Each appeal will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and a decision will be communicated promptly.

Refunds are not offered for other circumstances unless required by applicable law.

Late Payments

If a payment is not received by the due date:

  • Access to the service may be restricted until the outstanding balance is cleared.
  • Late payment fees may apply as outlined in your agreement.

For direct bank transfers, please ensure that payment reaches us by the due date specified on your invoice.

Taxes

As a company registered in Estonia, we comply with local tax regulations.

  • For purchases made by Estonian customers, a 22% VAT will be applied to the total cost.
  • For customers outside Estonia, VAT charges may vary based on the applicable tax laws of your region.

Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support at support@veranet.io.
  • Cancellations will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be applied.

Disputes

For any billing disputes, please contact our support team at billing@veranet.io within 30 days of the disputed charge. We will investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

Security

For Stripe payments, we do not store your credit card details on our servers. All payment information is securely processed through Stripe's encrypted platform.
